Community Offering: SafeWalk Program

Dear Naropa Students,
  • Are you concerned for your physical safety?
  • Do you have class or study on campus later in the evening?
  • Is it dark and you are walking alone back to your car or home?

SafeWalk may be the answer …

Naropa University is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for the campus community. Anytime a student or employee feels unsafe walking to the parking lot or walking to their nearby residence, you can request a Safe Walker. The purpose of the SafeWalk Program is to provide a safe walk for Naropa Students and employees from the Arapahoe Campus to their residences in the Goss-Grove neighborhood (from 15th St.- Folsom St. and from Arapahoe Ave.—Canyon Blvd.)

The SafeWalkers/Caretakers are on call on the Arapahoe Campus.

* Call 303-944-4789 (& save this number in your contact list!) *

Hours of operation: Monday-Friday, 6 — 10PM

One of our Caretakers will answer your phone call and organize the safe walk. Two Caretakers will be dispatched to your location on the Arapahoe Campus and will safely guide you to your destination within the Goss Grove Neighborhood (from 15th St. to Folsom and from Arapahoe Ave. to Canyon Blvd).

Event Blast: Thank-a-Thon

Cultivate gratitude at Gratitude Week’s Thank-a-Thon

thank-a-thon

Students are invited to join in Gratitude Week (beginning November 17th) by volunteering for Thank-a-Thon. This is a phone bank effort to say thank you to our donors, alumni, volunteers, staff, faculty, trustees, and parents that do so much to support you, our students. In fact, you’d be welcome to call your fellow students, too. We want to send gratitude from Naropa out into the world and you are the best ambassadors.
